The burger is even said to bleed like real meat, and boasts claims of being environmentally friendly and “100% free of hormones, antibiotics and artificial ingredients.”

This, of course, is quite deceptive — especially for something that contains GMO ingredients that are no doubt grown with the help of Roundup, a toxic weed killer. Beyond that, the Impossible Burger also contains “yeast extract”  — which is a notorious euphemism for the well-known excitotoxin, monosodium glutamate, or MSG. So, should you really buy into the hype surrounding this new meatless burger that bleeds?  It certainly seems that there are plenty of reasons not to.

The problem with GMO soy

GMO soy is one such reason. Soy, and especially genetically modified varieties, have been linked to a number of ill effects. For example, there are many concerns about the phytoestrogens and goitrogens found in soy products. These compounds have been linked to cancer and thyroid problems, among other health issues. Processed soy-containing foods made with unfermented soy, in particular, are of great concern.

While the “heme” found in the Impossible Burger is reportedly comprised of a fermented soy and yeast concoction, the burger still boasts soy protein isolate as an ingredient. As a 2009 report from Cornucopia revealed, the overwhelming majority of soy protein is processed using hexane. Hexane is a toxic solvent that is used for extraction. It’s also a neurotoxic byproduct of the gasoline refining industry. Most soy protein isolate is created via a hexane bath.

As Cornucopia’s Behind the Bean report reveals, “The soy protein ingredients in most nonorganic foods such as vegetarian burgers and nutrition bars are processed with the use of hexane.” The Impossible Burger is not an organic burger at this time — which leaves the door open for hexane residues in their soy protein isolate. Hexane residues of up to 21 parts per million were found in the soy meal often used to create soy protein for food products, including veggie burgers and infant formula.

Soy protein processing practices don’t just endanger the food supply, however. The processing of soy via hexane is also problematic for the environment. Even the EPA considers hexane to be a “hazardous air pollutant.”And as the Cornucopia report reveals, even products that claim to use “natural” ingredients or “natural soy” likely still contain hexane-extracted soy protein.

These issues are compounded by the fact that most soy grown and used for food products is of a genetically modified variety — and as we all know, GMOs come with their own set of concerns. Beyond the inadequate safety testing of GMO crops, there are several issues with GMO soy. Food Matters reports a recent study found that GM soybeans come with a disturbingly high formaldehyde content — a known carcinogen– and also a lower content of glutathione. Glutathione is a natural antioxidant that’s integral to the body’s natural detoxification processes.

And in 2014, research revealed that GM soy also boasted high amounts of glyphosate and glyphosate breakdown products — in fact, the GM soybeans had levels of glyphosate that the scientists described as “greater than is typical for most vitamins.”  The researchers said their findings indicated that GM soy soaks up glyphosate during the growing season. Glyphosate is the key ingredient to Roundup, Monsanto’s star herbicide, and it’s been associated with a myriad of health issues. Yeast extract: the “natural” name for MSG

Free glutamate is the active ingredient in MSG, but MSG is not the only place it can be found. Several other food additives, such as yeast extract, contain large amounts of free glutamate. And when an additive contains less than 78 percent free glutamate, the term “MSG” does not need to appear on a food label — just the name of the ingredient. Yeast extract is a very common flavor enhancer that contains free glutamate, and because it has such a “natural” sound to it, it’s often used to flavor so-called “natural” processed foods — like the Impossible Burger.

MSG has been associated with a wide range of negative effects, largely impart due to its ability to excite the nervous system — which is why it’s considered by many to be an “excitotoxin.” This over-stimulation yields an inflammatory response. In turn, MSG consumption has been linked to migraines, hives, burning sensations, upset stomachs, and muscle fatigue or tightness. But research has shown that the effects of MSG don’t end there: The excitotoxic nature of MSG can cause neurons to essentially excite themselves to death. Neuroscientist Dr. John Olney found that MSG actually damages parts of the brain.

The effects of MSG can be cumulative, meaning that repeated exposures over a period of time can lead to negative consequences, but the effects are not necessarily immediate. Because humans have more glutamate receptors than the animals often used for testing, such as rats, we are actually more susceptible to the damage MSG is capable of creating.

The only “impossible” thing about the Impossible Burger is that it’s impossible to consider this burger “healthy” and “all-natural.”

The 29-year-old “technical” wizard worked at the National Security Agency and was able to sneak out with a thumb drive that mapped out the PRISM program – the exact way NSA spies on all Americans all the time. Until that time, anyone who claimed the American Government was spying on its own people was labeled a nut-job “conspiracy theorist” who was paranoid and needed psychological help. My how the tables have turned.

#2. Vaccines cause autism, autoimmune diseases, brain damage, central nervous system disorders and the spread of the very diseases which they’re supposed to prevent

For decades, the medical “holy grail” has been vaccines. Ever since the over-hyped polio vaccine was “discovered” and “cured polio,” the medical quacks have been totally successful at calling anyone who questions or criticizes the dangerous chemicals in vaccines “quacks” and charlatans themselves. Parents whose children have been severely injured or killed by vaccines and sue or complain are called “anti-vaxxers” and are persecuted for their beliefs.

It’s almost as though we’re living in medieval times. #3. Global warming is a hoax and a political money-making scheme

Agencies around the world, including in Canada and Europe, took the warning seriously and started taking steps to test for glyphosate residues in food. (RELATED: Glyphosate is definitely genotoxic, according to the WHO scientist who authored the Roundup study.)

It seemed like the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) was pursuing the same strategy. For a full year, from January 2016 until January of this year, the USDA was coordinating efforts with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to start testing for glyphosate residues in samples of corn syrup starting this coming April. Now, it seems that the USDA has dropped its plan, and is instead going to focus its efforts on testing for 100 different pesticide residues (excluding glyphosate) in honey samples. The USDA’s glyphosate testing plan would have entailed examining 315 different samples of corn syrup for glyphosate residues, as well as for AMPA (aminomethylphosphonic acid) metabolites, which are created as glyphosate breaks down. This is important, because researchers believe that these AMPA residues are dangerous in their own right.

The USDA’s plan was clearly still on track on the 11th of January, when the agency’s Diana Haynes wrote to colleagues, “Based on recent conversations with EPA, we will begin testing corn syrup for glyphosate and its AMPA metabolite April 1, 2017 with collection ending August 31, 2017. This program change will need to be announced at the February PDP Conference Call.”

Something changed between then and the end of March, however, because when asked about the plan late last month, a USDA spokesman, who did not wish to be named, said that the agency had no plans to undertake any glyphosate residue testing this year.

“The final decision for this year’s program plan, as a more efficient use of resources, is to sample and test honey which covers over 100 different pesticides,” said the spokesman.

Another government agency, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), started testing milk, corn, eggs and soybeans for glyphosate residues last year. Though the program was suspended last fall, one researcher had already found high levels of glyphosate in samples of both honey and oatmeal.

Though both the USDA and FDA test for pesticide residues on thousands of food samples each year, neither agency has made much effort to test for glyphosate residues; they claim that this is due to the high cost of such testing. This has put both agencies in line for criticism, as more and more concerns about the health effects of glyphosate have been voiced in recent years. In 2014, the Government Accountability Office criticized both agencies for their failure to test for residues of this dangerous chemical in the foods eaten by Americans.

Monsanto is being sued by hundreds of people who claim that exposure to the Roundup herbicide resulted in them or their loved ones developing a type of cancer called non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Until such time as the agencies responsible for protecting the health and welfare of American citizens can be relied upon to do their job, it is vitally important that we take responsibility for our own health by ensuring that we buy only locally-sourced, non-GMO, organic produce (or grown our own) that has not been doused in cancer-causing glyphosate.

But what about news outlets like Forbes.com, for instance, that routinely and flagrantly publish their own extremist content that advocates for continued chemical violence against children?

Forbes.com is notorious for publishing extremist content that pushes deadly vaccines, toxic herbicides and pesticides, untested genetically-modified organisms (GMOs), and other forms of depopulation on the masses. And yet, Forbes.com isn’t among those media outlets being targeted as part of this “extremist content” take-down by the establishment. Why? Because the position that Forbes.com takes on these issues is congruent with the pro-vaccine, pro-chemicals, pro-corporation agenda.

Take the 30 January 2017 Forbes.com article entitled “Trump, Vaccines, And Science Under Threat,” which blasts the Trump Administration for taking the issue of vaccine safety seriously. The article takes a salty tone towards the president’s position on this issue, which is merely to take a closer look at what vaccines might be doing to the nation’s children.

Forbes.com not only criticizes President Trump for questioning “science,” but also makes light of the autism epidemic, putting the word epidemic in quotes to insinuate that autism is not actually an epidemic. Try telling that to the 1-in-68 children that now fall on the autism spectrum, up from 1-in-150 just 15 or so years ago, and even lower in the decades prior.

This same Forbes.com hit piece on President Trump goes further, mocking his alleged rejection of the “compelling body of evidence supporting the safety and effectiveness of vaccines,” by referring to him as an “avid consumer of cable news and social media.” This, of course, is the way that Forbes.com attempts to manipulate its readers into likening questions of vaccine safety to kookiness or extreme gullibility.

Forbes.com loves GMOs and wants you to love them, too!

Vaccines aren’t the only issue for which Forbes.com bows at the altar of political correctness. As you may recall, former Forbes.com contributor, Jon Entine, published an almost weekly diatribe in support of GMOs and biotechnology. Jon Entine routinely took aim at those who pointed to independent science contradicting the official narrative of GMO safety, referring to such studies as bogus and false. He was later exposed by Natural News as a violent wife beater and deliberate journo-liar.

In 2014, Entine published a manifesto declaring, “The Debate About GMO Safety Is Over, Thanks To A New Trillion-Meal Study.” In typical form, Entine adamantly denied the existence of any evidence whatsoever suggesting that GMOs are unsafe, instead claiming that transgenic species are no different to natural ones.

Studies like those conducted by Gilles-Eric Séralini suggest otherwise – and with substantial and compelling evidence – but these are never enough for the likes of Entine and Forbes.com. Questioning the safety of GMOs, vaccines or any other sacred cow of “progress” is considered extremism, while promoting these very same things without a second thought is considered completely in line with reasonable thought.

As online and independent media grows, the establishment media has no choice but to try to censor it, hence this latest push at banning or blocking “extremist content.” However, much like the “fake news” foolishness that backfired on the mainstream media in a major way, trying to label all independent thought and news “extremist content” simply won’t work – the reading public is far more in-tune with what’s going on these days.

If you believe what researchers from the Einthoven Laboratory in the Netherlands now claim, global warming, a.k.a. Big Government’s favorite scapegoat for everything wrong in the world, may be at least partly to blame for the millions of people who suffer from impaired insulin production.

Published in the journal BMJ Open Diabetes Research & Care, a paper by these researchers identifies an association between temperature surges and increased diagnoses of type-2 diabetes, the kind most commonly associated with eating too much sugar and not enough beneficial nutrients. Because of this coincidence, they have somehow theorized that increased warmth might be a cause of this common disease that afflicts some 29 million people living in the United States.

It might sound like some kind of joke, but this conclusion was actually published in a scientific journal that claims to uphold the highest research standards. Several major news outlets are already touting the study as “evidence” that diabetes is a consequence of man-made climate change, which presumably means that politicians need to impose more taxes on the people to send over to the United Nations.

In a phone interview with The Huffington Post, lead study author Lisanne Blauw apparently stated, without laughing, that when the weather gets warmer, more people are diagnosed with diabetes. Based on this supposed observation, she added, it is vital that the public recognizes that “global warming has further effects on our health, not only on the climate.”

Common core-type ‘science’ ignores basic facts about how the body self-regulates temperature

This latest study piggy-backs on an earlier one published in 2015 by a separate team of researchers, also from the Netherlands, which found that insulin production increases in lower temperatures, and decreases in higher temperatures. Based on this, the jump was made to global warming’s alleged contributions to the diabetes problem, completely ignoring the natural variances in temperature that occur between geographical areas depending on the season and their proximity to the equator.

Neither research team was able to pinpoint precisely why diabetes seems to increase in warmer climates — probably because this observation is entirely coincidental, proving nothing about the supposed link between temperature and diabetes. And yet, the mainstream media is parading it around as proof that humans need to curb their living habits to prevent the ever-dreaded global climate warming phenomenon from escalating.

Whenever a research study makes a legitimate correlation between, say, mercury in vaccines and autism, the world is told that correlation does not equal causation, and that the study’s findings are invalid. But then along comes a ridiculous pair of studies such as the two being used to suggest that global warming causes diabetes, and suddenly this baseless connection between two unrelated things is gospel scientific proof that climate change is causing people to become chronically ill.

While it may be feasible for temperature changes to affect cellular activity inside the body, the one thing the alleged scientists pushing such a claim are ignoring is the fact that the human body self-regulates its internal temperature to remain a comfortable 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit, adjusting up or down as necessary based on external conditions. Being in a warmer climate, in other words, is irrelevant because the body normalizes its own internal temperature regardless.

You don’t have to be a scientific expert to realize all this, either — every elementary school student learns these basic biological facts at a very young age. But it appears these “scientists” from the Netherlands missed this class in school, and are now perpetuating common core-type junk “science” to continue pushing the crumbling global warming hoax.

For some ungodly reason, vaccine manufacturers, who have complete immunity against lawsuits, are harvesting infected kidney cells from African Green Monkeys to produce childhood vaccines.

Be sure to ask your pediatrician if injecting infected monkey kidney cells is right for you and your children. That’s right, in addition to heavy metal toxins, chemical preservatives, and dangerous oil-based emulsifiers like polysorbate 80, doctors and nurses are blindly injecting anything scientists claim is useful, even when it means using infected monkey kidney cells to grow diseases in the lab cultures.

Some infants require hospitalization after the RotaTeq vaccine, including surgery on their intestines.

Yes, you may be getting infections from other people’s blood. You could get hepatitis, AIDS, or maybe just that problem where your immune system attacks itself and the doctors just can’t seem to figure out what went wrong. The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine have recently come under fire, thanks to a biotechnology panel that was found to be littered with financial ties to Big Biotech.

While the Academies proclaim to pride themselves as being “advisers to the nation,” it seems that at least one of their committees prides itself more on being in the industry’s back pocket.

A recent report from the Academies’ panel for biotechnology claimed to have no conflict of interest, even though their very own web page on the panel members seems to tell a different story. Several committee members boast conflicts of interest, and at least two violate the Academies’ stringent conflict-of-interest policy, according to The New York Times.

To make matters worse, an employee of the Academies’ was also searching for new employment at the time he was selecting the 13 people he recommended for the biotech panel. Three of those 13 individuals turned out to be board members belonging to his new employer. If you haven’t guessed it already, the “new employer” is a biotechnology company — surprise, surprise.

The National Academies have defended these conflicts of interest, and maintain that because the type of expertise required of their staff is “limited,” a certain level of conflict “must be tolerated.” However, many people feel these “conflicts” undermine the integrity of the organization, as well as its authority. Indeed, it leaves us all questioning whether or not their so-called facts are even real.

In total, the Times identified seven panelists who had commercial interests that could be affected by regulations, or had been associated with the industry in some way. Because there were 13 panel members, it would seem that those without a conflict of interest were in the minority. Here are the seven panel members that are potentially corrupted by industry influence, and what their ties to the biotech industry are:

Steven P. Bradbury: A professor of environmental toxicology at Iowa State University, and the owner of Steven P. Bradbury & Associates, a consulting company that advises biotech firms.

Farren Issacs: Assistant professor of molecular, cellular and developmental biology at Yale University, and the co-founder of enEvolv, a company that “re-engineers” microbes into chemicals for industrial purposes.

Richard M. Amasino: A professor of biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin who holds patents on several biotech processes.

Jeffrey Wolt: Professor of agronomy and toxicology at Iowa State University, and a former Dow Chemical employee. The National Academies have disclosed that he has commercial interests that violate their policies. He is still on the panel, as the Academies have concluded that the level of conflict was “unavoidable.”

Steven L. Evans: Evans currently works for Dow AgroSciences as a fellow in seeds discovery research and development. This is a clear conflict of interest that the Academies have disclosed and dismissed once again as “unavoidable.”

Richard Johnson: A former senior partner at international law firm, Arnold & Porter, and the chief executive and founder of Global Helix — a consulting company that “may” advise clients in the biotech industry. Johnson has since resigned.

Richard Murray: A professor of bioengineering at California Institute of Technology, and the co-founder Synvitrobio, a biotech start-up.

To say that these conflicts may “color” the perception of these panel members is an understatement. These people have clear ties to the biotechnology industry, with many of them being an explicit part of the industry they have been deigned to help regulate via their advisory reports. ACSH is paid by Monsanto to say glyphosate is super nutritious and people should drink it like Gatorade. Gizmodo is so classless they’ll publish anything to get a rise out of their sheeple readers. Novak, the journo-moron and editor of a moronic blog called “PaleoFuture,” literally published an outright lie about Natural News and said that Mike Adams wrote that Natural News “hosted a recipe for a DIY Ebola vaccine that included an Ebola sample people were supposed to inject into their arms.” First of all, anyone who ever reads Natural News knows that Mike Adams warns the world repeatedly against injecting known dangerous viruses and neurotoxins, like polio strains, flu strains, and mercury. So the entire hit piece is completely fabricated from thin air. It was all based on some rogue blog that got pulled immediately after being recognized as ridiculous.

But read the fine print carefully! The study floods you with a lot of numbers and technical mumbo-jumbo that’s little more than fake science, hoping you gloss over the parts you don’t understand. However, a closer look at the study reveals that these “scientists” gave participants a lower dose of vitamin D3 than what is typically recommended.  They also provided a cheap source of calcium that isn’t readily bioavailable to the body. After testing more than 2,000 postmenopausal women, they had the gall to conclude that vitamin D has no statistically-impressive effects in terms of reducing the risk of cancer.

The study divided the participants into two groups. One took a placebo pill, the other received 2,000 IU/d of vitamin D3 and 1,500 mg/d of calcium. Over the course of four years, researchers recorded all incidences of cancer (excluding non-melanoma skin cancers). It was found that around four percent of the supplement group developed a form of cancer compared to around six percent in the placebo group. That’s roughly a relative 50% increase in cancer risk among those who did not receive the vitamin D.

How much vitamin D do I really need?

The Institute of Medicine (IOM) suggests an average daily intake of 400 to 800 IU of vitamin D a day. However, they are quick to point out that this is only for those who receive adequate amounts of sunlight. Those who are not exposed to sunlight would need higher doses of vitamin D. In reality, wellness experts say that a dose of 8,000 to 10, 000 IU a day of the vitamin is needed — especially for people who stay indoors a lot.

Statistics on the number of people suffering from a vitamin D deficiency are conflicting. It is estimated, however, that around 42 percent of U.S. adults are vitamin D deficient, with the highest rates found among African Americans and Hispanics.

Sunlight is the main source of the vitamin. Your skin naturally synthesizes the fat-soluble vitamin when exposed to sunlight. Vitamin D is then processed by your liver and sends it through the body. Every cell has a receptor for vitamin D. The vitamin is responsible for several processes and is necessary for a healthy immune system and strong bones. Two forms of the vitamin can be found in one’s diet. Vitamin D2 found in mushrooms and vitamin D3 which is found in oily fish and eggs. What about the calcium used?

The study used calcium supplements comprised of calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate is common because it is inexpensive and convenient. Nevertheless, calcium carbonate is not readily absorbed by the body. It depends on stomach acid for absorption. This is why people who take calcium supplements are told to eat a full meal before taking the supplement. Failure to do so can lead to serious gastrointestinal issues. Taken properly or not, calcium carbonate has also been linked to several other side-effects such as bloating, constipation, or a combination of the two.

More importantly: Calcium carbonate does not provide the adequate amount of calcium needed for the body to perform properly. Doctors recommend sourcing the mineral instead through a healthy diet.

Take note that the body needs vitamin D for calcium to be absorbed. Lacking in the former would affect levels of the latter. So, let’s take a look at that study again. Participants were given a low dose of vitamin D which could affect the way their bodies absorbed the calcium — of which they were given a cheap form of. Is it any surprise then that the study showed negative results?

On the contrary, one of the million-dollar experiments, the highly-hyped GMO Golden Rice, does the exact opposite. Instead of increasing crop production, these mutant plants have shown significant abnormalities in their growth, as well as reduced rice yield in field trials, a new study reported.

For the highly controversial project with the aim to develop a rice variety that contains high levels of vitamin A, this new finding is a serious obstacle. GMO proponents have long hoped to bring Golden Rice to the market to enrich the diet of poor farmers in rural areas with much-needed vitamin A. Vitamin A deficiencies heighten the risk of infections and blindness, among other diseases.

In the past, environmental groups such as Greenpeace have been blamed by GMO proponents for slowing the introduction of Golden Rice to the market. Are these scientists looking for a real solution or is this just a smart PR campaign? The latter might be closer to the truth. Just as any other GMO crop, Golden Rice fails miserably on all levels.

A failed attempt to breed a rice variety that produces vitamin A and addresses world hunger

After more than 20 years of research, the controversial GMO crop with the potential to save the third world from vitamin A deficiencies, blindness, and starvation fails to address its promises and is nowhere near being released onto the market, since the researchers now stumbled on yet another bump in the road.

Researchers believe the introduction of the new gene has caused widespread genomic instability that interferes with the production of the plant’s growth hormone, resulting in weak, stunted plants and poor rice production. One might think that after 20 years of unsuccessful attempts to bring this crop to the market, researchers would give up and look for a real solution to address the issues. The truth is big AG corporations could not care less about blindness, vitamin A levels, and starvation. A much darker truth lies behind this crop and the reason why GMO supporters have been pushing for the release of Golden Rice for commercial use. Golden Rice has been called the Trojan Horse of biotechnology corporations by anti-GMO activists because the industry hopes it will pave the way for the global approval of other, more profitable and commercially attractive GMO crops, reported the University of Washington.

It is time for the world to wake up and find a real solution to our nutrition issues. GMO crops such as Golden Rice are not an answer to the problem. Think of how glyphosate-resistant crops were going to reduce pesticide use. Today, however, we face massive resistance issues and have never used as many cancer-causing chemicals on our fields, which inevitably end up on our plates.
